At RS Scuff N Buff we look after a variety of car dent repairs in Essex. We fix minor crash repairs. If a panel can be repaired we will do so to keep the cost of the repair as low as possible. But if we feel the damage is too bad to save the panel, we can also replace it. If a part requires replacement then your car may need to stay overnight.

Scuff and car dents to panels will be repaired by firstly removing as much of the dent as possible, before re-shaping the area if needed using the highest quality fillers available. We then use a top quality primer to seal the filler. The panel is then ready for the colour and lacquering process.

How much to repair a car dent?

Car dent repairs are priced based on the extent of the damage. We first do an assessment of the vehicle before providing a free no-obligation estimation. Get a free estimatation

Can you replace car panels?

In most cases, we try to save your car panel - but in some cases, if the damage isn't repairable, we may have to replace it. A price to replace the panels will be given before undertaking any repair work.

How long does it take to repair a car dent?

The length of time will depend on the extent of the damage. Although we aim to have the damaged repaired within one day of booking your car in. We ask that the car can be dropped off between 8-8:30am. We will call you once work has been completed.

Can you replace car panels?

Do you do insurance work?

Yes. We will need authorisation by email from your insurer to proceed with the work. If you have been asked to collect quotes for repair work by your insurer, we will be pleased to assist.

Can you match my car colour?

Usually with car dents, there is also paintwork damage too. If painting is require we will include this in the estimation. We never use stock paint, which is almost never the same batch of paint that was used in painting the vehicle and could, therefore, be visibly a slightly different colour. We use computer-assisted mixing on-site to create a paint to match the panel we are painting, ensuring the best possible colour match.

My car is a 3 stage colour can you repair it?

Unlike many other repairers, we can and do provide repairs to metallic, pearl, mica and combination effect finishes. ( 3 and 4 stages).

Do you do PDR dents (paintless dent removal)?

Paintless Dent Removal(PDR) is a separate skill which is applicable if the paint is not damaged and the area is suitable for access for PDR. We have a number of dent specialists linked to our business please let us know your location and we will be more than happy to supply their contact number.
